So, you’ve got an interview, congrats!

What To Expect During Your Interview

  • Come Prepared

We encourage you to come prepared to make the most of our limited time together. Be able to clearly articulate the purpose of your grant. Know the purpose of your organization. Feel free to take a few minutes (less than five) to impress us with something remarkable about your work. Whether it's a unique insight, a compelling story, or a sample of your work, this is your chance to showcase what makes your project and organization truly exceptional. We look forward to being inspired by your passion and creativity.

  • We'll Ask Hard Questions

As you prepare for your interview, please note that our time together will be very limited. During this time, we will focus on the most challenging aspects of your application. While our questions may be rigorous, know that you were selected for an interview because we are truly impressed by your work and its potential impact. Our goal is to understand your project thoroughly and evaluate its fit with our mission. We look forward to a focused and insightful discussion.

  • Setting Realistic Expectiations

It is important to keep in mind that not all interviewees will be awarded grants. While your selection for an interview reflects our strong interest in your work, the grant decision process is highly competitive, and we must carefully evaluate each project against our foundation’s goals and criteria. Regardless of the outcome, we appreciate your dedication and the opportunity to learn about your inspiring efforts and strongly desire a positive relationship with you regardless of outcome.
