Hallettsville Lions Club Enhances Playground Shade Project

The Hallettsville Lions Club is championing sun safety and playground comfort with a new initiative. They're providing shade for city park playgrounds to reduce sun exposure and the risk of skin cancer among children. Alongside this effort, the club is distributing sunscreen supplies and educating the community on proper application, particularly at outdoor facilities like pools. Their project received crucial support from the Don G. Kaspar Foundation, highlighting the impact of collaboration in enhancing community well-being.The Hallettsville lions Club sent pictures and expressed their gratitude for the grant support in their initiative.

I am super excited to be apart of the Don G. Kaspar Foundation team! My background has been managing and owning a site work construction company for 26 years. A few years back, as I’ve been walking closely with the Lord, I have exited my company to answer a call to seek a ministry degree in Biblical & Theological Studies w/ a second major in Biblical counseling. I hope to bring my business background and spiritual leadership to this foundation in order to further the kingdom impact for the glory of God in our community and beyond.
