Vysehrad ISD Gym Gets a Facelift

Vysehrad, Oct 8, 2024 – Excitement is building at Vysehrad ISD as the school gym receives a much-needed facelift, which includes brand-new basketball goals! The Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) is thrilled with the results, and the new goals look amazing next to the recently installed insulation, giving the gym a fresh and upgraded feel.

This significant improvement was made possible in large part thanks to a generous grant from the Don G. Kaspar Foundation. The support of the foundation has enabled Vysehrad ISD to enhance its facilities, creating a better environment for students and athletes alike.

"We are incredibly grateful to the Don G. Kaspar Foundation for their generosity and for helping make a positive impact at our school," said Melanie Janssen. "The new basketball goals are a fantastic addition, and we can't wait for the students to start using them when basketball season kicks off in just a few weeks!"

The Vysehrad community is looking forward to an exciting basketball season with their upgraded gym. Thanks to the collaborative efforts of the PTO and the Don G. Kaspar Foundation, the students now have an even better space to enjoy sports and physical activities.

I am super excited to be apart of the Don G. Kaspar Foundation team! My background has been managing and owning a site work construction company for 26 years. A few years back, as I’ve been walking closely with the Lord, I have exited my company to answer a call to seek a ministry degree in Biblical & Theological Studies w/ a second major in Biblical counseling. I hope to bring my business background and spiritual leadership to this foundation in order to further the kingdom impact for the glory of God in our community and beyond.
